Kacper Sobolewski is an associate in the IP and commercial litigation department at A&O Shearman. Kacper graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw in 2022, and he is currently doing his

advocate traineeship at the Warsaw Bar Association. With his experience involving commercial and patent invalidation disputes, Kacper aims to become a versatile litigator. In 2023, he was admitted to the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of the University of Warsaw, where he is now also pursuing a PhD in administrative law.

Marcin Ziarkowski is an advocate and senior associate in the IP and commercial litigation department at A&O Shearman, with nearly a decade of experience specialising in intellectual property matters,

particularly patents and copyrights. He is actively involved in a wide range of patent invalidation proceedings and patent litigation, especially within the pharmaceutical and telecommunications sectors. Marcin develops litigation strategies and represents clients before the Polish Patent Office, the IP court, and administrative courts.
