The Transformative Patent Landscape in Saudi Arabia Since the announcement of Saudi Vision 2030, there has been a significant increase in patent activity in Saudi Arabia. The Vision 2030 initiative aims to diver ‑ sify Saudi Arabia’s economy and reduce its reliance on oil revenue by fostering growth in sectors such as renewable energy, biotechnology, healthcare and information technology.
