In addition, Interministerial Order No 12032/2000, relating to environmental protection regulations in the mining sector, includes provisions regulating conflicts between the impact of mining pro - jects and environmental protection.
As the current legislation regulating the mining sec - tor (ie, the new Mining Code and its implementation decree) represents the latest legislation (updates in 2023 and 2024), there is no expectation of any immi - nent changes.
