Darrell spent seven years as an exploration geophysicist with Amoco Canada and four years as in-house corporate counsel to Teck Resources Limited. He is a member of the Association of Mineral Exploration BC and the Foundation of Natural Resources and Energy Law, and is the Co-Chair of the Mining Committee of the International Bar Association.

Jennifer Poirier is a partner in the mining and capital markets groups at Cassels. She represents mining companies in a range of transactions, including ‎earn-ins, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, royalty

acquisitions, public and private financings and stock exchange listings. She is member of the Foundation of Natural Resources and Energy Law, including its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and is a member of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada.
