Wacef Bentaibi has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2005, and is a partner at Gide Loyrette Nouel and co-managing partner of the firm’s Casablanca office. Wacef heads the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure)
Chaimaâ Bouhami is an associate at Gide Loyrette Nouel in the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) team in Casablanca. Chaimaâ focuses on the structuring, development and financing of large-scale infrastructure
group and Public Law practice, and specialises in project development and project finance matters in the energy, water, infrastructure and transportation sectors, advising governments, sponsors and lenders in the context of PPPs, BOT, concessions and large-scale project structuring. Wacef is also recognised for his work on regulatory matters and has assisted several public authorities in the conduct of legal reforms in Morocco, notably in the mining sector, in industrial zones and in connection with oil and gas matters. Maxime Masurier holds a PhD in Law and is an associate in the Public Law/ Projects team in the Casablanca office of Gide Loyrette Nouel. He specialises in infrastructure and energy matters, and has in-depth
legal expertise in the electricity sector and PPA practice. He assists public and private economic operators in the design, structuring, financing and implementation of strategic transport and energy infrastructure projects in Morocco, securing their legal, financial and operational interests. He is particularly involved in regulatory matters and contractual matters.
Benoit Pape is a counsel at Gide Loyrette Nouel in the Casablanca Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) team, where he has been based since 2016. Admitted to the Paris Bar, he specialises in the development of
large-scale energy and infrastructure projects in Morocco, with a particular focus on renewable energy, electricity distribution, power purchase agreements and regulatory matters. Benoit regularly advises governments, administrative authorities, sponsors and lenders, and has contributed to the drafting of Moroccan legislation on electricity distribution, waste management and industrial zones. Before joining Gide, he served as in-house counsel at Geostock (Vinci group) in the oil and gas sector.
