William Julié is a Franco-British lawyer who was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2000 and practises mainly in criminal defence and international litigation. After studying law at the University of Paris Sorbonne, he

Amélie Beauchemin is an attorney at the New York Bar and Paris Bar. Before joining WJ Avocats, she worked for the Office of the Co-Prosecutors in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.

joined Professor Mireille Delmas-Marty’s DEA in Criminal Policy in Europe and the Institute of Criminology at the University of Paris Assas. William began his career in the field of criminal law and fundamental rights working alongside renowned lawyers, in particular Maître Henri Leclerc. His expertise includes extradition, the withdrawal of INTERPOL notices, restrictive measures (sanctions) and, more generally, complex national and cross- border litigation.

She also collaborated with several Syrian NGOs. She holds a bilingual Master’s in International and European Law from the University of Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense and an LLM in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the American University Washington College of Law. At WJ Avocats, Amélie developed strong expertise in international sanctions matters and regularly assists clients in annulment proceedings.

Camille Gosson studied international criminal law, criminal law and common law at the University of Paris-Panthéon-Assas and McGill University. After working with a defence lawyer in Montreal, she

Elena Moreno is an attorney at the Paris Bar. She completed a double degree in Franco-English law, obtaining an LLB in English Law and a Maîtrise in International and European Law. She also holds a

joined the international law clinic of Assas to work on the crimes committed during the conflict in Tigray, Ethiopia. In 2023, Camille joined the defence team for Mr Pjetër Shala at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague. She joined WJ Avocats as a trainee lawyer and has been an attorney at the Paris Bar since January 2025. She mainly works on cases relating to INTERPOL (red notices) and international and European law (sanctions).

Master II in International Law and Organizations from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. After her various experiences in international criminal law and human rights (Council of Europe, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the European Parliament), Elena worked on European sanctions litigation as an associate at Acquis EU Law & Policy. Elena joined WJ Avocats in 2024, and mostly covers INTERPOL, extradition and European sanctions cases.
