Ann Fenech is a partner and heads the marine litigation department at Fenech & Fenech Advocates. She has practised maritime law exclusively since 1986, and was managing partner between 2008 and 2020. Ann

He is also a member of the Maltese Chamber of Advocates and a lecturer at the University of Malta.

was elected President of the Comité Maritime International (CMI) in 2022. She was the President of the Malta Maritime Law Association from 2008 to 2022, and is a founding member of the Malta Maritime Forum and a council member of the European Maritime Law Organisation. She was also the CMI co-ordinator at the UNCITRAL Working Group V1. In December 2023, she was listed in Lloyd’s List’s One Hundred People, comprising the shipping industry’s most influential people, for the second consecutive year.

Daniel-Luc Farrugia is an associate in the marine litigation department at Fenech & Fenech Advocates. Daniel- Luc specialises in marine litigation and focuses on both dry and wet work. He is also well versed in

matters of decarbonisation and green shipping. Daniel-Luc was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2022 and is a member of the Chamber of Advocates, the Malta Maritime Law Association and the Franco- British Legal Society. He currently forms part of the International Working Group on Decarbonisation at the Comité Maritime International.

Adrian Attard is a partner in the marine litigation department and ship finance department at Fenech & Fenech Advocates. He graduated from the University of Malta in 2009 and was admitted to the Maltese Bar
