Enrique Ortiz started in the maritime sector in 1998, working for a P&I club correspondent in Spain. He specialised in maritime and insurance law during his traineeship at several P&I clubs and law firms based in
RoRo vessels. José joined the Bar Association in 2008 and has since provided both contentious and non-contentious advice to clients in all kinds of maritime disputes, including high-profile cases. He became a partner at Aiyon Abogados in 2015. He is a regular lecturer at Spanish universities and provides training sessions for import/export companies and private entities.
London. Previously a senior associate at a Spanish shipping firm, Enrique joined Aiyon Abogados as a partner in 2015. His areas of expertise are maritime, transport and insurance law.
