Nikolay Zisov is head of BOYANOV & Co.’s tech practice and a highly experienced adviser to both multinational and local clients in technology M&A, IT/IP, cloud computing, fintech and cybersecurity.

He has led numerous tech M&A transactions, including Synechron, Inc’s recent acquisition of Dreamix in Bulgaria, one of the largest Bulgarian technology M&A deals in 2024. Nikolay advises top industry players Microsoft, Google and Meta on various legal issues specific to Bulgaria. He also specialises in fintech, supporting licensing and regulatory compliance for innovative payment and e-money institutions. Nikolay is a strong supporter of the local start-up community, working with start-ups, founders and venture capital funds on their projects in Bulgaria.

Deyan Terziev advises tech clients on telecoms regulations, data protection, e-identification, digital signatures, connected vehicles and cybersecurity. He has conducted due diligence for telecoms, IT, TV and radio companies,

and leads data protection compliance projects for international clients’ local subsidiaries. Recognised as a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe, Deyan also supports clients on the legal regime for number-independent communications under the European Electronic Communications Code.
