Darrell Podowski is a partner in the mining group at Cassels. He advises mining companies on joint venture transactions, going-public transactions, corporate finance, M&A

Brian Dominique is a partner in the mining group at Cassels. He practises business law and has broad experience in real estate, focusing on the mining and electricity sectors, infrastructure

transactions and general corporate commercial matters in Canada and internationally. Having spent seven years as an exploration geophysicist with Amoco Canada Petroleum Company and four years’ as in-house corporate counsel to Teck Resources Limited, Darrell has a particularly strong understanding of the practical commercial needs of his clients. He is a member of the Association of Mineral Exploration BC and the Foundation of Natural Resources and Energy Law, and is the Co-Chair of the Mining Committee of the International Bar Association.
