For the most part, Peter handles contentious matters, particularly opposition and appeal cases before the European Patent Office and revocation actions. Peter has been involved in hundreds of oral proceedings and is very active in patent prosecution and litigation procedures.

He is currently teaching pharma/biotech-Patent- patent law at the University of Dusseldorf. He also taught medical engineering patent law at the University of Aachen from 2005 to 2015.
