5.5 Recent Developments The most significant recent development is the administrative change involving the dissolution of the INAI, with its functions being transferred to another authority. Other than the foregoing, there have been no recent reforms or proposed regulations to further tighten the rules on the international transfer of personal data. With the new administrative changes described in 1.2 Regulators , it remains to be seen whether any new regulations will be introduced to address this matter more rigorously.
