Jan Šovar is an attorney-at-law and a partner at FINREG PARTNERS law firm. He specialises in financial sector regulation, securities, fintech, payment and banking services,

and crypto-assets. He has extensive experience in advising Czech and international clients in respect of domestic and cross-border issues of bonds and other (hybrid) financial instruments, as well as large loan transactions and M&A. He also participated in the implementation of key pieces of financial regulation (particularly MiFID II and MCD) at Czech financial markets participants and on several innovative (fintech) pioneering projects in the Czech Republic (such as crowdfunding).
