Tom Carey has been the managing partner of Carey Olsen’s Guernsey office since 2023 and is also a partner in the corporate and finance group. Tom specialises in private equity
advises on corporate and investment funds matters, with particular experience in the structuring and launch of investment funds. He provides funds, fund service providers and fund promoters with advice on all aspects of the establishment, regulation and operation of investment funds. Matt has previously advised on deal-by-deal investment platforms utilising the blockchain and currently advises on fund tokenisation platforms in Guernsey. In 2023, he led the industry response to the proposed virtual asset legislation now in force in Guernsey.
