12.3 Responsibility for Losses A fintech service provider may be liable for loss - es sustained by a customer if those losses result from fraudulent activities conducted by the pro - vider. Additionally, depending on the specific terms of the contract between the fintech ser - vice provider and the customer, the provider may also be accountable for losses arising from gross negligence. The extent of this liability will depend on the damages that can be substantiated.
