He earned his LL.B. at Maastricht University, where he developed a strong foundation in EU and comparative law, which he further deepened during his LL.M. studies in European Integration at the University of Belgrade. He held leadership roles within European Law Students’ Association Belgrade, including serving as President, where he coordinated international projects and youth- focused initiatives aimed at connecting law students with the legal profession. He is fluent in English and Serbian (including Montenegrin, Bosnian, and Croatian), with intermediate knowledge of Hungarian.
During his studies, Marko participated in numerous legal clinics, workshops, and conferences in various areas of law and completed a specialist course in international law (University of Pittsburgh). Before joining Gecić Law, Marko completed his internship at a reputable regional law firm, where he gained knowledge and experience in commercial and contract law. Marko received numerous awards for his achievements, including the University of Belgrade award for the best student thesis in the school year 2022/2023. He has also received scholarships from the Faculty of Law and one of the University of Belgrade’s endowments. Marko is fluent in English, Serbian, and related languages (Montenegrin, Bosnian, and Croatian) and has an intermediate level of French.
