Hirofumi Kaji is of-counsel with Atsumi & Sakai. He specialises in conducting business
development for Japanese securities firms and assisting foreign companies with market entry and business entity set-up in Japan. Previously, Hirofumi worked in the securitisations division of a large Japanese bank in London and Tokyo, where he assisted in developing and selling securitised products and structured notes. He also worked for a major US insurance company, conducting due diligence for large acquisitions of insurance companies and analysis of the securitised products of target insurance companies. Hirofumi has also managed ALM and credit portfolios for a major institutional investor.
