Rico Benavides is a member of the Swedish Bar Association who has been working on financial regulatory compliance matters since 2014. Rico specialises in financial regulation, especially in
Advokatbyrå. Björn specialises in financial regulation, mainly within exchange and securities law, banking and finance legislation, asset management, crypto-assets, sustainability regulation and AML. He has represented clients in contacts with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen), advising in matters relating to authorisations with the Financial Supervisory Authority and in various implementation projects. Björn has participated in several long-term projects implementing new legislation, such as MiFID/ MiFID 2, PSD/PSD 2, AIFMD and 4AMLD. His client portfolio includes banks, investment firms, payment institutions, fund managers and crypto-asset service providers.
