at the Japan Fair Trade Commission’s Investigation Bureau, he was a lead case handler in various infringement cases (eg, cartels, bid riggings and unfair unilateral conducts). In this role, he conducted dawn raids more than a dozen times and was also in charge of interrogations and represented the Japan Fair Trade Commission before the Tokyo District Court and administrative hearings.
and being registered as a member of Daiichi Tokyo Bar Association in 2019, she moved to the Osaka office and registered as a member of the Osaka Bar Association. Her practice focuses on competition law and she supports clients in securing swift merger control clearances and implementing business strategies in compliance with the Anti- Monopoly Act. She also handles other practice areas including foreign investment, economic security and cross-border transactions.
