She has appeared before the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, earning a reputation for legal excellence and advocacy. Ms Burnette has also served as an Acting Master of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court on multiple occasions. She served as president of the Antigua and Barbuda Bar Association from 2015 to 2017 and is currently the chairperson of the Disciplinary Committee of the Legal Profession in Antigua and Barbuda.
