He is a Professor of Privacy, Cybersecurity and IT Contract Law at the European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity within the Maastricht University Faculty of Law, and a member of the EUMETSAT Data Protection Supervisory Authority and the Europrivacy Board of Experts. Paolo is admitted to the Milan and Amsterdam Bars. He is involved in European Commission studies on new technologies, in addition to participating in the revision of the EU Commission proposal for a General Data Protection Regulation.
