The Kennedys Copenhagen office has represented insurers in several cases of material importance for the insurance sector in arbitration, the high courts and the Supreme Court. Kennedys’ team in Copenhagen has panel lawyer appointments and co-operation agreements with several lead - ing insurers in the Danish, Scandinavian and global markets, supporting its status as the go- to law firm within insurance.

Heidi Bloch is a partner in Kennedys’ Copenhagen office, who has worked in insurance and litigation since qualifying in 2004. Before joining Kennedys in 2019, Heidi spent three and a
Rasmus Tommerup is an associate in Kennedys’ Copenhagen office and is admitted to the Bar in Denmark. He joined Kennedys in 2023 and previously worked at one of
half years working in the Danish labour organisation FOA with its members’ work- related injury cases in general and establishing an in-house legal office in that field. During her time at FOA, Heidi also participated widely in the law-making processes. She manages complex financial lines, cyber claims as well as all manner of personal injury claims, including class actions.

Rasmus advises insurers on coverage and legal proceedings with particular focus on professional indemnity, financial lines, D&O, product liability and recourse. He specialises in the defence of construction professionals in high-value and multi-party disputes, acting for architects, engineers and contractors. He also acts in the defence of directors and officers in financial lines cases. Rasmus has solid experience in legal and arbitration proceedings, and pre-action proceedings including expert opinion and handling of disputes in settlement negotiations.
