Alan Bercow joined Appleby in November 2023 and is a partner and member of its Cayman dispute resolution department. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and is on the roster of
Jae Shin is an associate in Appleby’s dispute resolution department. He is an attorney with substantial
experience acting for and advising high-profile individual and corporate clients across a wide range of commercial disputes and litigation. Jae’s experience spans insolvency disputes, claims concerning directors’ duties and regulatory investigations, and litigation risks for corporate clients involved in major M&A. Jae previously held roles as a tipstaff to a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and as a lawyer in the disputes and investigations team of Gilbert + Tobin in Sydney. Jae was previously admitted as a solicitor in Australia and is qualified to practise in that jurisdiction. Jae is a native speaker of Korean and is also fluent in Japanese.
