Jae Shin is an associate in Appleby’s dispute resolution department. He is an attorney with substantial

experience acting for and advising high-profile individual and corporate clients across a wide range of commercial disputes and litigation. Jae’s experience spans insolvency disputes, claims concerning directors’ duties and regulatory investigations, and litigation risks for corporate clients involved in major M&A. Jae previously held roles as a tipstaff to a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and as a lawyer in the disputes and investigations team of Gilbert + Tobin in Sydney. Jae was previously admitted as a solicitor in Australia and is qualified to practise in that jurisdiction. Jae is a native speaker of Korean and is also fluent in Japanese.
