Colin Trehearne is an English- and Canadian-qualified international arbitration specialist with substantial experience in international commercial arbitration across diverse sectors including mining, energy, pharmaceuticals, technology, insurance, and space tourism. Colin also has public international law experience and has advised on WTO matters, territorial disputes, self-determination, and the law applicable to UN bodies. He is a former associate professor at Keio University and current professor at Sophia University lecturing on dispute resolution, MNC regulation, and international law. Colin previously practiced law in Canada (Dentons Canada), Japan (Herbert Smith Freehills), and England (at Boies Schiller Flexner), having returned to Tokyo in 2022.

Lexi Takakamatsu is a California- qualified international arbitration specialist with particular experience in commercial and joint-venture disputes in the Asia region. She has played leading roles in several bet-
