Andreas Meidell is head of the insurance practice at Thommessen, and assists a range of Norwegian and foreign insurance clients. His practice encompasses marine, energy, financial lines, property and reinsurance, as well

Kristine assists in all phases of a dispute, from early assessments and claim letters to settlement negotiations and legal proceedings. She has litigated a great number of disputes before the ordinary courts, as well as for national and international arbitral tribunals, and also has experience as an arbitrator. He gained the right of audience before the Supreme Court in 2024, and is also regularly appointed as an arbitrator in Norwegian and international arbitrations. Andreas was president of the Norwegian Maritime Law Association (Comité Maritime International or CMI) from 2015 to 2020.
Nanette Arvesen works in litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution at Thommessen and is particularly focused on professional liability cases, disputes relating to corporate and securities law, and post M&A disputes.
She is involved in and has litigated several major cases before the courts. Nanette is a co-author of the book “Norwegian Ordre Public” and was involved in a research project “Arbitration and Party Autonomy” at the Institute of Private Law, University of Oslo, from 2009–2015. Nanette also has a great deal of experience providing regular advice to clients on Norwegian corporate and securities laws.
