Ricardo Ma P G Ongkiko is a senior partner at SyCipLaw and heads its litigation department. He has extensive experience both as arbitrator and arbitration counsel in international and domestic

aviation, banking and finance, construction, distribution, e-commerce, energy, insurance, M&A and real estate sectors. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and serves as a trustee of the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators. He is also an ICC Young Arbitration and ADR Forum Representative for South Asia.

He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (East Asia branch) and a member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration.

Ma Patricia B Paz-Jacoba is a partner and member of SyCipLaw’s litigation and arbitration, tax and intellectual property practice groups. She has deep experience in dispute resolution, including domestic/

international institutional and ad hoc arbitrations, and court procedures for arbitration. Patricia has represented clients at all levels of the Philippine judiciary before international and domestic arbitral tribunals, and proceedings before administrative agencies. She is an accredited arbitrator of the Philippine International Center for Conflict Resolution, and is recognised as an ADR practitioner in arbitration by the Philippine Department of Justice – Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Patricia is also a member of the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators and the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines, Inc.

John Christian Joy A Regalado is a partner of SyCipLaw and a member of the firm’s litigation department. He specialises in commercial arbitration, having represented clients in disputes before the ICC’s International Court of

Arbitration, the Philippine Construction Industry Arbitration Commission, ad hoc arbitral tribunals and Philippine courts in applications for interim relief. John’s experience in arbitration covers the
