She has been practicing for more than 20 years in dispute resolution and has a broad range of experience in commercial and business disputes with companies in a wide range of industries, including energy, power, real estate and technology. Shannon has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Alberta and acted in many private arbitrations. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the Litigation Counsel of America.

Craig Ferris (KC, FCIArb) is one of British Columbia’s most accomplished commercial litigators. His practice focuses on shareholder remedies, trust, pension and fiduciary disputes, securities and transactional

litigation, product liability, mining disputes and real estate litigation. Craig has appeared in all levels of court in BC, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. He also has extensive experience, both as counsel and as a neutral, in international and domestic arbitrations, as well as in administrative settings, including before the British Columbia Securities Commission. Craig has particular knowledge of class actions and acted as lead counsel in several successful defences.

Marko Vesely (KC, FCIArb) has over 25 years of experience assisting clients with contentious business disputes in civil litigation and commercial arbitration. His broad practice includes a particular focus on

Catherine Whitehead is a member of the Lawson Lundell’s research and opinions group, where she advises on complex legal issues across a wide range of practice areas. She has extensive experience preparing legal

class actions, cross-border disputes, shareholder litigation, and defamation and media law. Marko also has extensive experience in administrative law, including representing clients before administrative agencies and in the judicial review and appeal of administrative decisions. He has appeared as lead counsel before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, and at all levels of court in British Columbia and Alberta. He has also served as an arbitrator.
