However, according to the already adopted amend- ment of the CCP, rules on online publicity of the court hearings will come into force on 1 January 2026, according to which members of the public may also participate in court hearings through an online plat- form. Furthermore, from the same date, amendments to the CCP will modify the rules on judicial review (as an extraordinary remedy) so that, as a general rule, final decisions may no longer be subject to review by the Supreme Court. These amendments are described in detail in the Hun- gary Trends and Developments article. 14.2 Growth Areas In Hungary, the main area of growth for commercial disputes lies in cases arising from complex contrac- tual relationships, particularly in the fields of construc- tion, real estate development, banking and sharehold- er disputes and financial services. Digitalisation and e-commerce are also emerging sources of commercial disputes, especially concern- ing data protection, online transactions, and intellec- tual property rights.
