Lea Maalouf is an associate at Obeid & Partners and works within the firm’s dispute resolution and arbitration practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with honours from Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (Lebanon) and
Lebanese courts in leasing, expropriation, commercial agency, insurance, real estate property disputes, notification and enforcement of foreign judgments, and arbitral awards and actions for setting aside arbitral awards. She has also advised international clients and start-ups on corporate structures in Lebanon and provided general advisory work on issues related to environmental law, anti- corruption, data protection and privacy, pharmaceutical products and franchising. Zeina is qualified to practise in Beirut and Paris.
an Advanced LLM in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration, cum laude, from Leiden University (The Netherlands). Prior to joining the firm, Lea gained valuable experience at several international law firms in Paris, where she assisted in complex and high-stakes disputes administered under ICSID, ICC and DIAC rules of arbitration. Lea is fluent in English, French and Arabic, and is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association.
