and co-heads the firm’s dispute resolution group. He has been a lecturer in civil law at the Council of Legal Education and is a former vice-chairman of the Mauritius Law Society. André has been involved in providing legal advice to commercial firms; banks; insurance, sugar, petroleum and textile companies; hotels; and parastatal bodies, and in handling litigation for those entities. He is frequently involved in offshore litigation, Supreme Court chambers work in support of international arbitration, and intellectual property litigation. He also often takes part in local and international arbitrations.
