Roberto Shimabukuro Miyasato is a founding partner of Monroy & Shima Abogados with extensive arbitration and complex commercial litigation experience. He holds a law degree and Master’s in Corporate Law from

Abogados specialising in dispute resolution through litigation and arbitration. He graduated from Universidad San Martín de Porres and holds graduate degrees in Dispute Resolution and Notarial Law, with postgraduate studies at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Civil Liability, Legal Argumentation) and Universidad de Girona (Evidentiary Reasoning). He also studied at ESAN (Corporate and Administrative Law) and Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (Civil Law). His practice encompasses civil, commercial, administrative, labour and constitutional litigation and arbitration proceedings. He has authored various academic publications in his field.

Universidad de Lima, with specialised training from Harvard (Contracts) and University of Pennsylvania (Health Law). With 15+ years of experience, he represents clients across the healthcare, construction, insurance, retail, automotive, financial services, telecommunications and real estate sectors. His practice encompasses contractual, corporate, bankruptcy, consumer protection and health law matters. He also serves as a university professor and has authored various academic publications.
