Joseph Anthony I. Malaya is a partner at ACCRALAW, where he handles a broad range of litigation and arbitration cases. He specialises in construction and commercial arbitration, and also handles a vast array of cases involving criminal, administrative and environmental law. He also handles disputes in banking, mining, real estate and constitutional law. In 2023 alone, Mr Malaya handled seven arbitration cases, and in his 12 years at ACCRALAW has handled almost 30 arbitration cases before the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission, the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, the Singapore International Arbitration Center and various ad hoc arbitrations. Roslyn Bianca R. Mangaser is a senior associate at ACCRALAW, where she handles civil and criminal litigation as well as other modes of dispute resolution. She also handles cases involving mining, energy and
real estate, among others. In 2023, Ms Mangaser appeared as an expert witness in Philippine civil law before the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. She also served as a member of the Supreme Court’s Technical Working Group, which assisted in drafting and refining the Unified Legal Aid Service (ULAS) set to take effect in 2025. She likewise participated in the caravan conducted by the Supreme Court to promote ULAS and support the provision of proper and adequate legal assistance to anyone who cannot afford it.
