natural resources practice group. Mr Hafez focuses his practice on electric and natural gas regulatory and administrative litigation before state and federal commissions, including the CPUC and FERC. He has experience representing large power customers, demand response providers and clean power stakeholders in various rate- making and rule-making proceedings. Mr Hafez is a board member of the Conference of California Public Utility Counsel, and serves as the co-chair of the organisation’s Young Utility Lawyers section. Antonio Carrejo is an attorney in Buchalter’s San Francisco office and a member of the energy and natural resources practice group. Mr Carrejo is an experienced regulatory attorney in the energy industry. Prior to joining the firm, Mr Carrejo was an attorney at the CPUC, advising on a range of energy-related issues. Mr Carrejo has extensive prior legislative experience working for the New Mexico State Legislature and the New Mexico Office of the Governor as a policy analyst and speechwriter. Mr Carrejo also served as the California legislative liaison for the Legal Division at the CPUC.
