capital markets, corporate and structured finance and regulatory advice, acting for issuers/borrowers, sponsors, banks and investors. André has been closely following the transformation of the Portuguese banking sector, acting for investors in resolution matters and representing investors/ issuers in some of the largest NPL deconsolidation transactions. He also leads PLMJ’s impact investment practice. André obtained an LLM in Corporate Law from NYU School of Law and a PhD in securities law from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He teaches securities and financial law, has authored several books on securities and finance law, and regularly speaks at industry and academic conferences.
