Schoenherr Slovenia is the Slovenian office of the international law firm Schoenherr. One of the first law firms to pursue CEE-wide coverage, Schoenherr has grown to be one of the largest firms in the region. Peter Gorše is a partner at Schoenherr Slovenia, co-heading the banking and finance department. His extensive expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including leveraged and acquisition financing,

assets, and financial sector M&A transactions. He has extensive experience in syndicated financing/ restructuring transactions and frequently represents sellers and buyers of bank asset portfolios in Slovenia, Austria and Croatia. Additionally, he advises industry associations (notably, EFET) on netting issues and provides regular counsel to financial institutions on regulatory matters and market entry. Vid holds an LLM from the London School of Economics, publishes on Slovenian corporate finance and insolvency regimes, and lectures on financial contract principles to both financial institutions and law students.
