Adedapo Tunde-Olowu is the managing partner at ǼLEX and heads the disputes and labour and employment practice groups. He was admitted to practise law in Nigeria in 1988 and in England and Wales in
Adejumoke Ademola is a senior associate in the labour and
employment practice group at ǼLEX. Adejumoke specialises in labour and employment law, with a strong focus on both litigation and strategic advisory. Her advisory practice is distinguished by her ability to provide commercially practical guidance to multinational corporations, government agencies, non-profit organisations and private organisations on issues such as employee discipline and termination, redundancy and restructuring, internal investigations, contract and policy reviews, expatriate employment, and cross-border compliance. Adejumoke also brings a strong track record in employment litigation, having represented clients in complex disputes before Nigeria’s High Courts and Appellate Courts.
2009. He has over 36 years’ experience in commercial litigation and arbitration. He regularly advises clients on employee engagement/ disengagement and employment policies, and acts for clients in employment claims. He is also recognised as a respected litigator by Chambers. He became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2020.
Ugonna Ogbuagu is a partner at ǼLEX, specialising in dispute resolution, labour and employment,
and tax disputes. He advises on labour and employment issues in sectors such as healthcare, infrastructure, FMCG, insurance and industrial. He supports workplace audits and compliance, particularly for multinationals, and assists foreign clients with Nigerian immigration procedures. Ugonna has extensive experience in employment litigation. He is the secretary of the NBA-SBL’s Employment and Industrial Relations Committee and a member of the IBA’s Employment and Industrial Relations Law Committee.
Miebi Abere is an associate in the labour and employment practice group at ǼLEX. She advises on a wide range of employment law issues, including employee discipline, workplace investigations, contract
and policy reviews, and compliance with local labour regulations. She also supports the team on cross- border employment matters and expatriate advisory for multinational clients.
