handling the labour implications of business reorganisations, mergers, and acquisitions. He is also highly experienced in litigation before employment courts and administrative bodies. Additionally, Juan advises on employment compliance, occupational risk prevention, and the drafting of contracts and internal policies.

Luis Aguilar Romera is a counsel in the employment department at Eversheds Sutherland’s Madrid office. His professional practice as a lawyer covers all aspects of employment and social security law and, in particular,
the hiring of executives, termination of contracts, occupational risk prevention, company succession, health and safety in the construction sector, appearances before the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate, accidents at work, employment due diligence processes and collective bargaining. He also advises large groups of multinational companies and regularly provides employment law advice with respect to commercial operations and corporate restructuring. He also regularly appears before Spanish employment courts and tribunals.
Juan Alonso is a counsel in the employment department at Eversheds Sutherland’s Madrid office. Fluent in Spanish and English, he specialises in advising domestic and international clients on employment law and Social
