Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan KC is one of the leading sets of barristers’ chambers in Mauritius, with a strong reputation for work in both commercial and public law. Founded in 1960 by Sir Hamid Mool - lan KC, it was the first organised barristers’ cham - bers in Mauritius. Raza Currimjee is a dual qualified barrister specialising in commercial and public law. He routinely appears before the Supreme Court of Mauritius and has appeared before the Judicial Committee of the Privy

recognition and enforcement under the New York Convention, investment treaty arbitration, injunctive relief, private international law, civil fraud, and company law. Prior to joining the Mauritian Bar, Ali practised exclusively in international arbitration. He was a member of the international arbitration groups of Clifford Chance’s London office and Shearman & Sterling’s Paris office. Ali has acted as counsel in one of the largest ever arbitrations seated in Mauritius and secured the enforcement of the largest arbitral award in Mauritius.
