Lizette Neme holds a law degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and a Master’s in Law from King’s College London. She began her career at White & Case, where she worked for nearly ten years. In 2016,
Partners, where she leads the energy practice and advises on energy transition processes. She also specialises in negotiations of PPAs, O&Ms, EPCs, and DSAs related to the operation of participants in the electric energy industry. Lilia holds a Law degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and an MBA from Bayes Business School.
she joined the Mexican Ministry of Finance, where she was involved in the design and drafting of the FinTech Law. She is a co-founder of Áurea Partners, where she leads the financial regulation practice (banking and finance) and the implementation of key public policies for the sector. She has written for several prestigious publications on financial regulation and technology.
Cecilia Rojas has over 20 years of experience in banking and finance practice, representing both creditors and debtors. She also has experience in M&As, corporate and commercial law. Cecilia developed her private
practice at one of the most renowned law firms in Mexico. Before joining Áurea Partners, Cecilia served as general counsel of Altán Redes. Cecilia has founded diversity and inclusion committees in the institutions where she has worked, and actively participates in mentorship programmes focused on the development of women. Cecilia holds a Law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and an LLM from Columbia Law School in New York.
Lilia Alonso has over 20 years of experience during which she has advised various companies on the development, construction, and financing of energy generation and infrastructure projects. She has
participated in project financing operations and M&As in the electric, hydrocarbons, port, and transportation sectors. Lilia is a co-founder of Áurea
