Saran holds two master’s degrees in business law from Carleton University in Ottawa (Canada) and York University (England), as well as Juris Doctor accreditation from Canada’s National Accreditation Committee.

Abdourahim Bodeen Diallo is a senior associate at Thiam & Associés. He has extensive experience in business law, with a focus on M&A, corporate law and financing. He advises a clientele of African and
international groups on their projects in various sectors such as energy, mining, infrastructure, telecommunications, tech and finance. He also advises on labour law and corporate governance. In particular, he is involved in the negotiation and legal structuring of multi-jurisdictional transactions. Recently, he has advised leading international companies including Bank of America, Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Chalco Guinea and Karpowership on strategic transactions in the OHADA region. Fluently bilingual, Bodeen works in French and English.
Zahra Diallo focuses her practice on compliance and governance issues. She has also developed solid experience in succession law and commercial contract law, where she advises Thiam & Associés’ clients,
particularly in the mining, energy and infrastructure sectors. Zahra began her career with the Ministère du Revenu du Québec in Montreal. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil law from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and she speaks French and English.
Saran Kaba is a lawyer admitted to the Ontario Bar. Specialising in corporate law, she advises on asset acquisitions and disposals, particularly in the mining and natural
