David Tien is a corporate and M&A partner at Lee and Li, Attorneys-at- Law. He focuses on cross-border M&A (both public and private), restructurings, venture capital financings, securities laws and

international groups in different industries, including telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, media and logistics, as well as hi-tech and new-tech start-ups. In light of the emergence of the renewable energy industry, Lihuei is also proactively involved in solar energy and offshore wind farm projects. In recent years, she has actively advised clients on the establishment of Taiwan venture capital funds and the financing/IPO of start-ups, preparing the ecosystem for Taiwan start-ups.

Dennis Yu is a senior counsellor at Lee and Li, Attorneys-at-Law. He previously worked at the National Taxation Bureau of Taipei within the Ministry of Finance and was in charge of auditing profit-seeking enterprise

income tax and the study of laws and regulations. Dennis has extensive experience in taxation matters and is familiar with various taxation laws and regulations. At Lee and Li, he is in charge of handling clients’ tax problems and consults on tax issues such as multinational M&A, financial commodities, transfer pricing, international tax, customs value analysis and customs tariff classification.
