Gönenç Gürkaynak is the founding partner of ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law and heads its competition law and regulatory department. He graduated from Ankara

K Korhan Yıldırım is a partner in the competition law and regulatory department at ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law. He has more than 17 years of extensive experience in all areas

University Faculty of Law, and received his LLM from Harvard Law School and his PhD in Law from UCL Faculty of Laws. He has 25 years of competition law experience. In addition to his continuing private practice as an attorney, Gönenç is a professor of practice at UCL Faculty of Laws, and a senior research fellow at the Center for Law, Economics & Society at UCL Faculty of Laws. Gönenç frequently speaks at international conferences on competition law matters. He has authored five books

of competition law, including cartel agreements, abuse of dominance,

concentrations and joint ventures. Korhan has represented various multinational and national companies before the Turkish Competition Authority, administrative courts and the High State Court. He has given numerous legal opinions and provided training in relation to compliance with competition law rules. Korhan has also authored and co-authored many articles on competition law and merger control matters, and is a frequent speaker at various conferences and symposia.
