Christoffer Waselius was appointed partner at Waselius in 2014 and co-heads the M&A department. His emphasis is on M&A, as well as energy and environmental law (and disputes related thereto). Christoffer’s
Jaakko Huhtala was appointed partner in Waselius’ private M&A practice in 2022. He advises both domestic and foreign private-equity investors and corporates across various sectors. Jaakko has over 15
clients include energy companies (traditional and renewable), chemical companies, PE houses and other corporates, and he frequently acts for foreign investors in cross-border deals. He is a member of the Finnish Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) and the Finnish Law Society (treasurer from 2006–9). He is also widely published.
