Victoria Mertikopoulou is a competition law partner with over 25 years’ experience in competition/ antitrust law, having served as a board member of the Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) until
Georgopoulos Law Firm. Her diverse expertise covers corporate and M&A work in the technology, hospitality and infrastructure sectors. She acts for debt and equity investors as well as for founders and stakeholders in M&A transactions, working on all sides of the equation. In project finance and PPP projects, Elisabeth typically acts for IFIs and senior lenders on the project development side, leading due diligence teams and project development teams in drafting and negotiating construction, development and operation contracts.
2019. She represents international and Greek clients before the HCC and other competent authorities and courts in significant antitrust cases. Her practice focuses on all types of antitrust procedures, including leniency, settlement, commitments, merger control and dawn raids/investigations. She advises clients under the recently enacted foreign direct investment screening regime and regarding Digital Services Act (DSA) implementation and compliance matters.
