Enda Garvey is a partner in Matheson LLP’s corporate M&A group. He has extensive private equity experience and has advised on many of the most high-profile acquisitions and investments made by international private equity sponsors and infrastructure funds in Ireland in the past five years. Prior to joining Matheson, Enda worked at another Tier 1 Irish law firm. Alongside his private equity practice, Enda advises a number of infrastructure funds and domestic and international corporates on their corporate and transaction activity in the energy and infrastructure, agrifood and beverage sectors.

Robert Maloney Derham is a partner in Matheson LLP’s corporate M&A group. He has advised on some of the

largest and most high-profile international private equity transactions in the Irish market over the past five years. Robert advises on all aspects of corporate transactions (both domestic and international) including M&A (both strategic and private equity), venture capital, shareholder arrangements, equity fundraisings, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and restructurings, and general commercial matters. Having previously worked in New York for a leading US corporate law firm, Robert has particular expertise in large-scale domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, acting on both the buy side and the sell side in a variety of industries and sectors, including technology, real estate, infrastructure and business services.

Brian McCloskey is a partner in Matheson LLP’s corporate M&A group and leads the firm’s private equity team. Brian has extensive experience advising founders, financial sponsors and domestic and

international corporates on private company M&A, private equity transactions, reorganisations, joint ventures and general commercial matters. Brian has particular expertise in cross-border M&A and private equity, acting for both buyers and sellers across a range of sectors. He also advises clients on a broad range of governance and business-related matters, including directors’ duties and responsibilities and general compliance matters.
