Thomas Gibello Gatti Magalhães has almost two decades’ experience in corporate law, finance and capital markets, and is distinguished for delivering strategic and innovative legal solutions. He advises banks, brokerage firms, asset managers and other financial institutions on their legal, corporate and regulatory compliance needs. Thomas acted in securing regulatory approval for the change of control of a major national financial institution, and played an active role in structuring fintechs and disruptive financial institutions within the Brazilian regulatory framework. He is recognised for his client-centric approach and significant contribution to the structuring of financial and capital market transactions, and for actively participating in M&A opportunities.
André Dágola Brostoline is a lawyer at Magalhães & Zettel,
specialising in corporate, commercial and financial markets law, with a focus on banking regulatory law and M&A transactions. He advises on regulatory matters before the Central Bank of Brazil and the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission. His practice includes corporate restructurings, estate and succession planning, bespoke contract drafting and complex financial transactions, such as debentures, commercial paper and structured finance issuances. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) and the Brazilian Institute of Business Law (Ibrademp).
