Jorge Bofill is a highly experienced lawyer, specialised in white-collar crime and holding a JSD from Friedrich-Alexander Universität. He was previously a professor at Universidad de
César Ramos became the head of the criminal law practice at Bofill Escobar Silva Abogados in March 2021. He is an outstanding lawyer with many professional achievements in the
Chile and has advised on several legislative reforms, including the criminal procedure reform in the early 2000s; the drafting of Law No 20,393 on Criminal Liability of Corporations; and the discussions on a new Criminal Code between 2013 and 2018. Mr Bofill contributed significantly to educating judges, prosecutors and public defenders during the implementation of the new criminal procedure. He was a member of the Chilean Bar Association’s board from 2008 to 2020, and is currently again a member.
