His areas of expertise are maritime, transport and insurance law. He deals with all kinds of transactions, litigation and claims involving the interests of insurance companies, ship-owners and cargo interests. He is a member of the Bar Association of Cadiz.

During his professional practice, he has acquired considerable experience in a broad number of cases dealing with cargo claims, charterparty claims, salvage, collisions, ship arrest, cargo lien, marine pollution, project cargo carriage contracts drafting and revision, shipbuilding and offshore construction contract drafting and other areas. He regularly collaborates with universities and international publications.
