He started practising law in 1997 in his hometown and in January 2001 joined one of the leading maritime law firms in Barcelona, becoming partner after a few years. In March 2017, he opened BUFETE A. PRATS, providing business consulting services and comprehensive legal advice to a wide range of customers within the maritime, transport, logistics and port industry. He is a regular speaker at courses and conferences on maritime and transportation law organised by the Maritime and Transport Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association and Port Authorities.
