Hiromi Hayashi is a partner at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. Hiromi specialises in communications laws and regulations and authored the Japanese section of The Preston Gates Guide to Telecommunications in Asia in 2005. Hiromi’s other areas of practice are international and domestic transactions, takeover bids, and corporate restructuring. Hiromi was admitted to the Bar in Japan in 2001 and in New York in 2007. Hiromi worked at Mizuho Corporate Bank from 1989–94 and was with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York from 2006–7.
Masaki Yukawa is a counsel at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. Masaki advises on regulatory, data protection and cybersecurity issues for financial institutions, payment service
providers, blockchain projects, telecommunications businesses and technology companies in and outside Japan. He was admitted to the Bar in Japan in 2009 and in California in 2016. He was with the Bank of Japan from 2003–8 and the Financial Services Agency from 2014–15.
Keiichi Bando is a senior associate at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. Keiichi has dual expertise in finance and tax practices. As a tax lawyer, Keiichi provides advice on
Daisuke Tsuta is a partner at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. Daisuke specialises in cybersecurity and privacy law. He was admitted to the Bar in Japan in 2010. Daisuke worked
various tax issues, including those related to corporate and individual income taxes, value added tax, and inheritance and gift taxes, primarily arising from cross-border business or investment activities. Keiichi was admitted to the Bar in Japan in 2015. He also worked as a visiting foreign attorney at the Washington, DC and Atlanta offices of Alston & Bird LLP from 2023–24.
